Recognizing Community Leadership

If you look at my sitemap (which can be found in the upper right hand corner of my website), you will note that the "Community" link is above all of the other links on my website.

I did this intentionally with the belief that community, specifically family within community, is the most important aspect of our culture. If the foundational material for families doesn't work well, then we lose our ability to build strong community, provinces or states, countries and ultimately, the world.

With this in mind, this area is dedicated to promoting organizations or individuals who make a direct, immediate impact on the lives of families and communities at large.

I will periodically add information here as I become aware of the inspiring work of others to make a difference in the lives of families and communities. You will not see the big corporate or not-for-profit names here. I salute what they do but the PR I could give them pales in comparison to what their own PR engines can generate.
